Sandy Stadtler is a principal based in Rothstein Kass’ San Francisco office with a focus in providing accounting, tax and consulting within the Commercial Services Group. He is a certified public accountant in California with over 35 years of experience handling an array of financial matters for individuals and businesses. In addition, Sandy is a recognized accounting expert who often speaks on a variety of topics related to estate and trust planning, collaborative divorce settlements, entity planning and retirement planning. Sandy is also a certified valuation analyst (CVA) for estate and litigation matters.
In 1980, Sandy became one of the founding managing principals of Stadtler, Rosenblum & Saris (SRS). After leading his firm successfully for 26 years, he joined Rothstein Kass after it acquired the assets of SRS in July 2006. Sandy’s primary focus is to build Rothstein Kass’ Commercial Services Group in the San Francisco Bay Area utilizing his specializations in the areas of family and general business, tax, estate planning and strategy, retirement planning, transition planning, consultation and litigation support services. Throughout his impressive career, Sandy has facilitated and been involved with client business purchases, mergers, reorganizations and dispositions. He has been tapped as an expert witness for a multitude of legal cases to testify on issues such as business and asset valuation, business continuity, fiduciary matters, fraudulent transfers, generally accepted principles and auditing standards.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University in 1971, a Bachelor of Hebrew Literature degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York and a Master in Business Administration degree from New York University. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Affiliated Conference of Practicing Accountants.
