Jeff Davis is a principal in Rothstein Kass’ Roseland office. He provides audit, accounting and business consulting services to public and privately-held businesses in financial and commercial industries, such as broker-dealers, manufacturing, construction, technology, telecommunications, real estate and development stage companies. Jeff specializes in audits of employee benefit plans and the issues pertaining to them, as well as SEC-related accounting, reporting and compliance matters affecting publicly traded companies or entities considering a public offering.
Additionally, Jeff co-manages Rothstein Kass’ employee benefit plan practice. In this role, he develops best practices, oversees compliance with the rules and regulations applicable to auditors of employee benefit plans and keeps clients apprised of the current regulations relevant to them.
Jeff is a member of Rothstein Kass’ technology and best practices committees, has written a published article on the subject of SAS 104-111 dealing with risk-based auditing and frequently conducts in-house training courses for all levels of Firm staff on various technical and accounting issues.
Jeff is a certified public accountant in New Jersey and New York. He is a graduate and active alumnus of Montclair State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). He also participates in various charitable events that support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
