Rick Flynn is a principal in Rothstein Kass’ New York office where he leads the Firm’s Family Office Group. A lawyer and advanced planning specialist, Rick advises high-net-worth clients on wealth enhancement, wealth transfer, and asset protection planning.
As an advanced-planning specialist, Rick advises business owners, executives, hedge fund managers, professional athletes, and entertainers on managing their personal financial affairs. He also assists clients in real estate finance and management matters and is experienced in debt financing transactions, business consulting, business succession planning, and the acquisition and protection of intellectual property rights.
Rick provides clients a detailed yet flexible structure for managing all of their business and personal financial affairs. He coordinates clients’ accounting, bill paying, budgeting, cash flow management, document management, compliance, insurance, risk management, investment portfolio aggregation, charitable contribution planning, tax minimization strategies and retirement planning.
Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Rick was the Chief Operating Officer of a Nasdaq small cap entertainment company. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary, and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. Rick is a licensed attorney in New York.
Rick is a frequent speaker at seminars and workshops on topics related to wealth management for high-net-worth individuals. He is co-author of a book on the subject of celebrity wealth management and contributed insights to a book about the behaviors and decision-making processes of affluent investors. Rick is also a contributing editor to Private Wealth magazine and has written numerous articles for professional publications. |
