Ricky Rahaman is a tax principal located in Rothstein Kass’ Roseland office. As a member of the Firm’s Commercial Services division, he specializes in tax consulting and planning for middle market businesses in a number of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, publishing and real estate. Ricky has over 15 years experience in flow through entities and has extensive experience structuring corporate acquisitions and liquidations, developing exit strategies and operational planning to decrease overall tax burdens.
He also has experience providing tax advisory services to private equity groups, including foreign tax planning. His background includes tax efficiency consulting for buy-sell agreements, and he has in-depth knowledge of and practice in Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs) as an acquisition or liquidation strategy.
Ricky received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree in taxation from Seton Hall University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a frequent speaker at seminars and workshops on the subject of ESOPs.
