JoAnn Ralph is the managing consultant of Rothstein Kass Insurance and Risk Management Group (RK Risk Management, LLC), an affiliate of Rothstein Kass. Rothstein Kass Insurance and Risk Management Group provides insurance consulting, risk management, litigation support and disaster planning services to business consumers. The Group also provides consulting services to the insurance industry and litigation support and expert testimony in life, health, property and casualty topics including coverage issues, contractual disputes and standards of conduct or practices.
JoAnn has been employed in the insurance field for over 25 years with substantial experience on both the company and agency sides of the business. During her career, she has held positions such as underwriter, producer, agency vice president and risk management consultant. JoAnn attained the internationally recognized designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1983, the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1989 and the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2003. From 1988–1992, she served on the NJ Commissioner of Insurance’s Producer Advisory Board. In 1992, she was part of an insurance delegation that visited Russia to provide information about how private insurance systems work. In recent years, she has worked in conjunction with the Firm’s Cayman Islands office on the development of services supporting the captive insurance industry.
JoAnn is active in numerous industry and civic organizations and is a nationally recognized presenter on insurance topics. She has also been recognized by a variety of organizations for her contributions to the professionalism of the insurance and financial services industry.
