John Cavallone is a principal of Rothstein Kass with over 20 years of experience with the Firm. Based in the Roseland office, he is actively involved in the Firm’s Continuing Professional Education Committee and has frequently developed and conducted in-house training courses for senior and staff accountants. John provides audit and accounting, business consulting, tax and financial consulting for a diversified group of clients in both the private and public sectors, including broker-dealers, investment partnerships, business services, high tech, distribution, manufacturing and retail. He has extensive experience with broker-dealers and the regulatory and accounting issues confronting them.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He is the past Chair of the NYSSCPA Stockbrokerage Committee and has developed and presented technical training courses as a member of the Committee. John also presided over the May 2002 and 2003 annual Broker-Dealer Conferences sponsored by The Foundation for Accounting Education. He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and is a past President of the Essex Chapter. John is a certified public accountant in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
