What began as a women’s career development initiative in 2007, Rothstein Kass’ LIFE (Leadership, Inspiration, Family, Empowerment) has since grown to become a driver in furthering a core Rothstein Kass strategic objective: To attract, motivate and retain talented employees through innovative programs and a supportive workplace.
LIFE contributes to creating an environment within the Firm in which team members can best realize their full potential. In addition to supporting Rothstein Kass’ BALANCEDTM philosophy of customized work arrangements, LIFE also addresses the specific work-life integration issues faced by women, and finds opportunities for them to form a network of support both inside and outside the Firm.
A team of dedicated national professionals and local liaisons form the foundation of LIFE and are committed to developing programs that lead to future Firm growth and individual success. These include:

- A dynamic, tiered Office of Academic Affairs department that focuses on personal development and professional skills training opportunities
- Workshops designed to foster business development and leadership skills via relationship-marketing training
- A high visibility Mentoring Program, conducted by Firm Principals
- Strategic alliances and external partnerships with professional organizations and companies across multiple and complimentary industries
